The review petitioner, the Assistant Executive Engineer, KSE Board Ltd, Electrical Sub Division, Power House, Kollam has filed this review petition against the orders issued by this Authority in appeal petition No. P/062/2017 dated 22-09-2017. I held that the review petition is not maintainable, since it is time barred and hence rejected.

the consumer filed objection before the Assessing officer i.e. the Assistant Engineer who disposed of the petition by confirming the provisional bill after allowing a hearing. Still not satisfied, the appellant then lodged a complaint before the CGRF, Kottarakkara which was dismissed, vide order no. OP No. 437/2017 dated 19-08-2017. the appellant against such bill is to file an appeal under Section 127 before the Statutory Authority. Hence I make it clear that the appellant is directed to approach the Appellate Authority for redressing his grievances as per Section 127 of Electricity Act, 2003

The appellant is paying the current charges regularly without any due or delay. But the respondent as per the invoice dated 20-01-2017 directed the appellant to remit an amount of Rs.30997/- being the short assessment based on the findings that the meter was faulty for the period of 11/2013. the short assessment bill for Rs. 30997/- towards the alleged faulty meter period is hereby quashed.
